
Singer/Songwriter Rod Stone, is now residing in Birch Bay Washington after spending 20 years in Nashville, where he built a reputatuion as a “Songwriter’s songwriter” among his peers. With a compassionate, honest and direct perspective on life, his music resonates with vibrant stories of family, hope, love and patriotism.
Recently his patriotic song “USA Today” was recorded and released as a single by the patriotic icon Lee Greenwood who wrote and recorded the classic “God Bless The USA”. Rod has had songs recorded with such artists as the legendary George Hamilton IV , Crystal Gayle, Collin Raye, Terri Lynn, Rickey Lee Watson and a very talented and promising new artist Taryn Cross who lives in his community. He has received rave song reviews in both Billboard and Music Row Magazine, two industry standards.
In a completely different market, Rod’s song “Evening Clouds” orginally recorded on “Precious Moments: Lullabies For Little Ones”, a Golden Books music project, was also released on the instrumental CD “Autumn In New England” which to date has sold over a million copies.
Rod continues to vigorously pursue his songwriting thanks to the encouragement of his wife Carrie and his children Newell and Olivia, and has recently had numerous song holds with top country artists like George Strait, Brad Paisley, Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, and Diamond Rio along with the Gaither Vocal Band and Randy Travis.
